Context and Challenges

A mining company sought to increase operating efficiency in the secondary crushing circuit at one of its mines. The main challenge was to maximize efficiency in times of higher humidity, such as during the rainy season, when there was a considerable drop. The implementation of Nebuluz allowed the operation to obtain more stable results and maximize plant productivity, which did not occur without facing the following challenges:

  1. Prevent sieving circuits from saturating at times of higher humidity
  2. Reviewing regulatory control, which proved inefficient
  3. Cure the unavailability of particle size analyzer
  4. Provide complete information for the mass balance, which information was incomplete until then
  5. Prevent excessive fines from being loaded into the crusher feed, which made them inefficient
